At a session Thursday using the Television Critics Association to advertise the comedy's new period, a reporter asked Lena Dunham, the actual show's creator and celebrity, why her character had been often naked.
Dunham said the nudity was an authentic expression of life, adding when the reporter was "not into me" which was his problem. Later, executive producer Jenni Konner said the type of questioning was inappropriate and put her right into a "rage spiral. "
The show about 20-something friends in Ny returns Sunday for it's third season. HBO stated Thursday it's ordered the fourth season of "Girls."
