This 44-year-old chef as well as her husband off of 11 years, designer Todd Thompson, usually are officially calling this quits. Giada announced this news on her Facebook page upon Monday.
"After an amicable divorce since July, Todd and I've decided to finish our marriage, " she wrote. "Although our decision to split up comes with significant amounts of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming wish for our family's bliss has given us the strength to go forward on separate, yet always linked paths. "
Giada as well as Todd tied the knot in May of 2003. They've one daughter collectively, six-year-old Jade Marie De Laurentiis-Thompson.
"Todd and I share a lovely daughter and an entire life of great memories that we both treasure in excess of anything, " she added. "We are so grateful for our family and friends, and really appreciate the support within this time of change. "
Last August, ETonline caught up along with that "Giada at Home" host during blissful times at the annual Los Angeles Food & Wine Celebration, where she dished about her Vegas restaurant called GIADA.
