In accordance with a blog post on scoutingmagazine. org, Scouts through Troop and Crew 368 from the Berkeley Heights, NJ, were on a training hike once they spotted Curry sitting on the side of a trail along with her leg extended. This NBC News reporter informed the Scouts she thought she broke her ankle, and also the boys sprang into activity.
